Questions people ask

Straight answers about ownership, timing and cost, before you ever fill in a form.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain and the hosting are in your own name or your organization's, under your own account. When the site is done, you get every login and a copy of all the code.

How long does it take?

It depends on how busy my schedule is, so your written quote gives you a ready date. Most sites are ready in about a week once I have your text and photos.

What do I need to send you?

Your logo, a few good photos, and the basic facts: who you are, your programs, and how people reach you. If writing isn't your thing, I'll draft the text and you correct it.

Can I update the site myself?

Full sites come with a simple admin page where you post announcements, events and, for a masjid, prayer times, right from your phone. No coding needed. A one-page site has no admin page: you email me the change and I make it.

What will it cost me each year?

Most sites run on Cloudflare's free hosting plan, so hosting costs nothing. You pay only for the domain name, usually about $10 to $20 a year, paid directly to the company you buy it from. The monthly Care Plan is optional.

Can the site be in Arabic?

Yes. English, Arabic, or both with a button to switch, and the Arabic pages read correctly from right to left.

What if I need changes later?

Before launch you get two rounds of changes on a preview link, and if something I built doesn't work as agreed, I fix it for free. After launch, the Care Plan covers up to four small edits a month, each done within two to three business days. A bigger change gets its own quote.

How do I pay?

Half when we start and half when the site is finished and you're happy with it, before it goes live on your domain.
